We offer a one stop, unique cultural village that includes most Southern African tribes at one location. We are showcasing the Nambyan, Swazi, Zulu, Ndebele, Rozvi, Tswana, Tonga, Xhosa, Venda ,Luvale, Ndau cultures and traditions. We are using culture and traditions to transform rural communities. You are certainly able to experience the real African experience when you visit Lanyula Cultural Village . Activities on site include ,traditional dances, traditional foods, village tours in the community, feeding guinea fowl, picnics and nature walks at Matetsi river . When you decide to rest on site, you have the opportunity to experience therapeutic African inspired gardens that are not seen anywhere else in Zimbabwe. There are many of the very best Shona sculptures on display and we showcase the work of local artists in our gardens.
Our Suites
Lanyula Cultural Village comprises six unique African thatched chalets. The beautiful bathrooms have basins carved out of natural rocks.There is a unique shared 1.5 tonne jacuzzi also carved out of rock and tucked in a bamboo inspired Swazi hut. The chalets are thoughtfully distanced from one another to offer absolute privacy and all the African chalets are surrounded by beautiful gardens which have guinea fowl walking around. We have one family chalet with 2 bedrooms. We also have an amazing sky view platform where it is possible to sleep, you can watch the stars, and listen to bird songs. It is entirely self-contained with both bathtub and basin in the same carved rock style.
